# Theme-aware public site

2026-09-05 · New feature

The fivepixels site now supports persistent light and dark themes through a single adaptive token system.

Visitors can switch themes from the global header. The selected theme is stored locally and applied before hydration to avoid a flash of the wrong color scheme.

## What changed

- Adaptive surface, text, border, and status tokens drive the public content pages.

- The theme preference persists between visits.

- System preference is used when no explicit choice has been saved.

# Pretendard is now the only typeface

2026-09-04 · Improvement

All public UI and code examples now use the locally hosted Pretendard font family.

The font stack has been reduced to the five locally hosted Pretendard weights used by the interface. This removes third-party font requests and keeps typography consistent.

# Public content is now English-only

2026-09-03 · Improvement

The language switcher and Korean copy have been removed from the fivepixels public experience.

Navigation, product explanations, guides, documentation, and examples now share one English source of truth.

# Updated adoption and developer guides

2026-09-02 · Documentation

The guide collection has been rebuilt around the current fivepixels workflow and API surface.

## A clearer path from trial to rollout

The new guide separates reviewer workflow, team rules, DOM tagging, and developer setup so teams can adopt one useful path at a time.

# Improved marker restoration after layout changes

2026-08-28 · Bug fix

Marker lookup now handles common component movement without dropping the original review context.

Restoration now gives stable report identifiers priority and uses nearby DOM structure as a fallback when the original node is no longer in the same position.
